Experience Raw Power
Hey everyone, happy to finally be able to relaunch my game as it's been quite a while since the last update. I do work on this part-time so I do what I can in my time home, so forgive the absence.
For those familiar with PONGslaught I've listed the summary of changes below, there's been quite a number of them. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any feedback or questions. I've also taken the time to make a quick gameplay teaser, linked below.
I'll be taking the time now to reach out to some publishers to fund full-time development, if you love the game as much as I do you can help by telling your friends or stream yourself playing. I do enjoy watching them, they greatly help with feedback and marketing.

- CHANGELOG -
While I didn't get to fully completing the Sword Storm weapon as I wanted it will be coming next update for certain, most of the work is done already. This update came with an overhaul in how charged shots worked, namely by making them more powerful and redesigning a charged mechanic.
I've also expanded upon the control options by adding gamepad / joystick and keyboard support. The tutorials have not yet been update to reflect these changes, so please be aware of that. The keyboard and gamepad inputs work in combination with an additional button to dash when you need to.
The full list of changes is really long so I've simplified some items on the list here to cover several smaller changes.
- Intro animations added to powerups
- Powerup intro animations pause the game to clarify what happened
- New laser gun charged shot
- New plasma gun charged shot
- Expanded tutorial
- Game remembers tutorials you've completed (even offline)
- LOTS of juice / game feel updates
- Filled out several missing sound effects
- Optimizations
- Changed from "First to 10" to "Best of 21" for win state
- Player now respawns with an invincibility shield
- Fixed several bugs, please report any new ones I may have missed
- Added fullscreen support
- Added keyboard support
- New loading screen
- Made ball more visible when bouncing
- CRT monitor effect (will be toggleable next update)
- Plasma gun now ramps up in speed when charging
- Powerups now explode when the timer runs out (visual, no damage)
- Everything feels more powerful
- Replaced the flux capacitor
