I'm Back
Howdy,
Been a minute, hasn't it? I'm certain life for all of us has been strange over the past year or so, mine being no exception. Details aside I took a sabbatical from game dev for a year and pursued other things in my life. Moving cross country a couple times, getting into some construction projects and backyard inventing, etc. Was off the grid completely for several months too.
Been a nice breather from something I've been doing non-stop for half my life. But the itch to get back to what I love has returned and so I'm picking up working again on my game here PONGslaught. I did nearly finish that launcher, it all works just needs some bug fixing and such. For the game itself I'm currently working on bug fixes, finishing up some gameplay mechanics tweaks (for a couple weapons), and adding the first boss fight. Will be a big battle so it may take some time but all the assets (art) are made now.
There are several polishing improvements that have been made too since the last published update so there will be many cumulative updates in the next one. I'll publish a full change log when the update is made available.
I will be doing this part-time for the next few weeks at least as I currently work full-time. Should I find a publisher I'll switch to making this game full-time but until then bills must be paid.
Cheers,
Leo
