January Progress Update
Hello everyone, hope you all had a fantastic and family-filled holiday season. Happy belated New Years too, let's make this a great year for indie games.
Just wanted to keep everyone informed on PONGslaught's progress and what's to come. I took a small break during December, spending a week or two relaxing and being with family. I have however started about a week ago a month-long break from my primary job, and consequently I can get more work done on the game.
I have been spending a lot of time working on bug fixing and optimizing, however this next update will come with a myriad of small updates across the board, including visual effects, sound effects, behavior tweaks, and a new weapon powerup I think you'll all enjoy. The upcoming Sword Storm power shoots magic flaming swords that seek out and self-destruct after they've stabbed through their target. Quite fun really, and that's not even the charged shot.
I'm also working on the first ever gameplay trailer for PONGslaught, but I want to include the new features in it so it will have to wait. I'll probably release it the same time as the update, seems like the best option.
If you haven't already given the game a play yet be sure to check it out, during these early stages of development feedback is of great value.
Cheers,
Leo LeBlanc
