Whitebox Bug Fixed
Hey everyone, I took the opportunity of visiting my family (holiday here in Canada) to debug the notorious visual bug that's been plaguing many users since open testing launched. Since I couldn't replicate the bug on my own machine I was shooting in the dark before today. There was a line causing one of the shaders to crash, which has now been fixed and rolled out. Of course if this recurring nightmare shows up again be sure to let me know so I can get on it right away.
From here I can start adding all the ideas collected during this initial (alpha) launch to make for a better introductory level and implement needed features like a shield. Another early step will be creating a game launcher, so users won't need to re-download the game when an update has been rolled out.
Updates will be roughly once a week until the launcher is made, so I don't burden people with overly frequent re-downloading. The launcher will give people the option to download the major updates only or the more frequent but less stable 'nightly' builds to satisfy both sorts of player.
