Hello World
Hey everyone, thought I should give an introduction to my game (PONGslaught), a very brief history and what's planned next. I'm Leo by the way, just me so far (though the dark [-synth] master Hexenkraft made the music) but I plan to hire more people as the project grows.
The game's been in development for probably over a year now, though I've only been able to work on it part time. I plan to make this my full time job in the near-future, so updates will be quicker. It was in an unplayable state for quite a while too, so I'm happy to announce it will remain open for testing from here on until completion.
The next update will address some commonly brought-up issues, namely that partially-blank background bug, adding a defence mechanic, and some improvements to make easing into the game and learning the ropes a bit better. I'll also be filling out sound effects that are missing, and adding a new weapon. From there I will be reaching out to publishers, after which development will speed up greatly.
There's much more down the road such as levels, boss fights, more powerups, game modes, all the good stuff. Thank you for your interest in my project, I mean that genuinely.
