Update on Progress
Howdy everyone
So it's been quite a while since my last update here on the state of my project, and during these times of quarantine people have been playing more games. This means I've gotten some traffic on my game's page here I haven't been paying attention to. So I'd like to keep everyone in the loop and reassure any fans that the project is still being worked on.
I'm not currently a full time developer so things have been much slower than I'd like, and being the perfectionist I am I haven't been comfortable with the stability of the game enough to push an update. That said much has been added since the last update here, with more levels, a new weapon, several map obstacles to make the battlefield feel more alive, a settings screen, full gamepad/controller support, balancing, redid some of the older graphics, and tonnes of game gravy (game-feel / juiciness) to spare.
I'm also bringing in translations, which will be rolled out continually throughout development (all the alphabets and assets need to be made, they take time). The next update will include Russian for sure and perhaps French. The Japanese alphabets are also 2/3 done so they may be included too in the next update (if not the following update for certain).
Right now I'm just tying the bow on a couple features and killing the important known bugs, as well as working on a rebranding. Assjack Games has served me well as a name for many years, however in these times of political correctness and censorship I felt this a good time to undergo a rebranding to Ivory Lion Games. I'll speak with staff here to see if I can smoothly rebrand or if I will need to set up a new account. In any case I'll be sure to notify everyone through here.
